BELOGOS

Private Therapy Practice

by Aleksejs Beloglazovs

Existential approach

The existential approach invites us to look more closely at our lives — at our relationships, choices and the questions that shape us. It helps us see what truly matters and supports us in living with greater clarity, honesty and meaning.

Why me

As a therapist, I aim to be sincere, attentive and genuinely engaged with my clients. I draw on Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and depth-oriented perspectives within Existential Therapy.

Get Help

I support people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, anger, relationship or workplace difficulties, separation or divorce, low self-esteem and other challenging life situations.

Find Purpose

With respect, kindness and understanding, I help people build on their strengths and move toward meaningful change.

About

Aleksejs Beloglazovs - Professional Psychotherapist

My work is an exploration of how you build relationships with life: with freedom of choice, the search for meaning, loneliness, and the finitude of existence. I help you not only find solutions to your specific problems, but also understand how your worldview and way of life create these problems. Together we explore how you choose your relationships with the world (in life and in therapy) and how you can change these choices for a more meaningful and free life. Existential therapy remains the foundation of my work, but I also use more instrumental approaches—Logic-Based Therapy (LBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other methods—when they help achieve your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is a therapy session?

Each session lasts 50 minutes. This allows time for meaningful conversation while maintaining a sustainable schedule.

Are sessions confidential?

Yes, absolutely. Everything discussed in therapy remains confidential, except in rare cases where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, as required by law.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes, I offer both in-person sessions in Riga and online sessions via secure video call. Online therapy is just as effective for many people.

What is existential therapy?

Existential therapy focuses on fundamental questions of meaning, freedom, choice, and responsibility. It helps you explore what truly matters to you and live more authentically.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies for each person. Some find clarity in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. We'll discuss your goals and review progress together.

What if I'm not sure therapy is right for me?

That's completely normal. We can start with an initial session to explore whether therapy feels like a good fit. There's no obligation to continue if it doesn't feel right.

Do you accept insurance?

I operate as a private practice and do not directly bill insurance. However, I can provide receipts that you may be able to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

What languages do you offer therapy in?

I provide therapy in English, Russian, and Latvian, allowing you to work in the language you feel most comfortable expressing yourself in.

How do I book a session?

You can book directly through the Calendly link on this website, or contact me via email or WhatsApp. I typically respond within 24 hours.

What should I expect in the first session?

The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore how we might work together. There's no pressure—just conversation.
